What lessons can address
International programmes demand close attention to specifications, assessment objectives and the language of mark schemes. Tutoring remains anchored to the exact subjects and programme taught by the student’s school; it does not replace authorised teaching or claim to be an examination centre.
- Interpreting specifications and assessment objectives
- Planning coursework, revision and school deadlines responsibly
- Practising the response forms required by each subject
- Using teacher feedback and mark schemes to refine performance
How a lesson is built
The first step is to identify the exact programme, subject, level and assessment calendar. Work is then mapped to school priorities. The student learns to read criteria, evaluate her own response and distinguish a content gap from a problem of structure, evidence or examination technique.
