What lessons can address
Mathematics becomes manageable when each missing idea is identified and rebuilt in the right order. Lessons are based on the student’s own school programme and current level, whether she needs to recover confidence, strengthen everyday work or prepare for an assessment.
- Algebraic reasoning, equations, functions and graphs
- Geometry, measurement and the accurate use of mathematical notation
- Statistics, probability and interpretation of data
- Structured problem-solving and clear presentation of working
How a lesson is built
I first observe how the student reads a question, chooses a method and checks an answer. This shows whether the difficulty lies in knowledge, mathematical language, accuracy or exam technique. Explanations are followed by guided examples and then independent work, with the level of support reduced as confidence grows.
