What lessons can address
French is taught as a coherent language rather than a list of isolated rules. Grammar, vocabulary, reading and expression are connected so that the student can understand accurately and communicate with increasing independence. Work follows the requirements of her school programme.
- Grammar and sentence structure understood through use
- Reading comprehension and careful interpretation
- Written expression, planning and accurate correction
- Pronunciation, listening and confident oral response
How a lesson is built
New language is introduced in context, examined closely and then reused. Corrections are selective and explained: the student learns not only that something is wrong, but how to identify and repair the same pattern herself. For examinations, practice is organised around the exact skills and formats required by the school.
