What lessons can address

Home education needs more than a collection of lessons. Families need a coherent sequence, realistic expectations and a reliable way to see whether knowledge is secure. Support is designed around the family’s chosen curriculum and legal responsibilities; it does not itself confer school status or accreditation.

  • A coherent sequence based on the family’s chosen curriculum
  • Weekly teaching priorities and manageable independent work
  • Regular checks of understanding rather than task completion alone
  • Clear records that help the family review progress and next steps

How a lesson is built

The arrangement begins by clarifying the curriculum, subjects, intended outcomes and time available. Teaching and independent work are then balanced so that the programme remains demanding but sustainable. Periodic review identifies what has been mastered, what needs revisiting and whether the pace should change.
